Before starting the treatment you will receive detailed information about the benefits of Cerec for your specific case.
1 – Footprint
After the remotion of the cavity or the old amalgam filling, a 3D image of the tooth is made with the 3D camera.
Forget the discomfort of the traditional impression tray!
For the impression taking, we use the CEREC Omnicam, a small but sophisticated high-definition camera.
The precise 3D images in natural colors make the impression taking simple and intuitive.
2 – Design
The restoration of the customized tooth is performed on the screen of the planning unit.
With the CEREC software we plan the restoration.
This allows you to get the final design of your restoration in the shortest possible time.
3 – Milling
The Cerec milling unit “carves” the filling from a ceramic or composite block.
The milling and grinding unit and the software are specially synchronized wiath each other. The milling/grinding cycle for your restorations is very precise
4 – Installation
The restoration is ready and directly bonded to the tooth.
